Re-branding and launching a new version of a business is not for the faint of heart! I have been working with a fabulous business strategist (Lela Barker at Lucky Break Consulting) and have been learning so much about business that I should have an MBA by now (Marj Broke her A$$) working on this project. So what are these changes about? My products are more centered on natural ingredients without synthetic fragrances and/or colors, Ingredients are sourced locally from small family farms as much as possible, Soaps are a new, whopping 5.75 oz (much thicker than previous soaps) I have introduced Buttermilk to the line of soaps and lotions, Gray-Zen Acres now has bees so fresh honey and home grown bee's wax are in the soaps, candles, and lip balms. Speaking of candles, I am in partnership with the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Mobile Alabama. They were looking for a way to recycle the used bee's wax candles that were too short to be used in services. I melt, strain, color, fragrance and add a bit of coconut oil and a fabulous wooden wick (that gently crackles like a tiny camp fire) to them and offer a great bee's wax jar candle with proceeds going to their homeless outreach program. Don't forget to check out the new little pitcher for the Double Butter Body Candle. By the way, stop by the Meet the Farmer's page to learn about the small family farms that provide some of the ingredients for Gray-Zen Acres products. Many changes, same great quality.
Gray-Zen Acres will be at 2 shows this fall/holiday season.
